College admissions consulting for high school students in grades 9-12
Students who are interested in fine arts or are performing artists or have undecided majors are the ones we can help guide for college applications. High school students who want to major in Fine and Graphic Arts, Fashion, Architecture, Film and Vocal music. Complete consulting packages are available.
Many students are very creative and want to showcase their talents for college admissions but are not going to major in the arts. We help students to pull together the materials to create a portfolio, an artistic resume, creative essays and other application requirements to highlight their creativity. Complete consulting packages to work with these students are also available.
Working with students, on a list of colleges to apply to, with the right “fit”. Planning the timeline and managing the process of the art supplement, portfolio and artist statement and all other application requirements by college. Helping the student create art by advising on and curating their art for the “art supplement” of the Common Application. Portfolio review includes combinations of fashion, architecture, graphic design, music, voice, dance videos, film and fine art or other artistic majors or minors.
Working on curating, creating and critiquing art supplements/portfolios for all other college majors and enhancing the overall application for any major or minor subject in college. Includes working on artists’ statements, curating their artworks, helping in labeling and writing about their pieces that will be part of their portfolio and art/music or activities resumes. Encouraging students to showcase their extracurricular activities in a professional format to enhance their college applications. Shubhra works with highly talented students to help them get admission into their top-choice universities and colleges all over USA.

Creating a plan for all the college applications, suggestions for college list, artists’ statement, art portfolio, resume building, review of entire application package and final submissions deadlines for portfolio requirements.
Working collaboratively with the parents to help the student.
Complete review of college application
Preparation of portfolios, including review of art, creating new work, complete portfolio, looking at colleges’ requirements, activities resume, artists’ statements and essays. Especially for students who are applying for majors in Fine or Performing Arts or undecided about majors in college.
Create a plan for 10-12 college applications, suggestions for college list, essays, art portfolio by college/ requirements, resume building, review of the entire application package and final submissions.
Working collaboratively with their parents to help the student. Timeline management and artistic guidance included.
Often students want to apply "undecided" to colleges, like Liberal Arts programs, without a decision on a major. We welcome students who are open to exploring the college application process with us and would encourage students and their parents to reach out and schedule a free 1/2 hour zoom call with us.
